He expressed his desire for cooperation with the embassy to advance the cause of administrative justice.
Ambassador Liu Jin expressed gratitude to the Ombudsman for the visit.
The ambassador expressed similar sentiments regarding the relations between the two countries and his country’s commitment to sustaining that relation.
He also expressed his profound impressions of the genuine friendly nature of Gambians.
While sharing with the Ombudsman China’s own efforts and the establishment of similar institutional arrangements to fight corruption through asset declaration, he indicated that both countries have the same mission to have a clean public service and improve the lives of their people, hence the need for cooperation.
He indicated possibilities of exchange visits and to further explore other areas of cooperation. The Ombudsman was accompanied by officials of the Office of the Ombudsman comprising Deputy Ombudsman Ousman G.M. Nyahg and Deputy Ombudsman Samba Bajie.
